We at Hudson Products Corporation understand the need to ensure a trust for future generations, even in the face of the challenges presented by the ever changing and continuously growing nature of regulation which demand even more after making enhancements to the manufacturing process by changed materials, modified procedures, and re-training of employees to meet the last published requirements.  That challenge has been met in the past and will continue to be met in the future by the dedicated people at Hudson.  It is our commitment to not only meet or go beyond the published regulatory requirements, but to honor our environmental commitments to our community.

As a result of enhancements in the Environmental Program, we have been increasingly involved in Special Projects.  These are projects or goals which go beyond regulatory requirements, and which reflect Hudson's environmental philosophy and commitment to preserving the environment, and to the benefit of our employees and the surrounding communities.

We currently have  Satellite Hazardous Waste Accumulation Areas being utilized at Hudson Products.  Satellite Accumulation Areas (SAAs) are areas located inside the manufacturing facility designated for collection of Hazardous Wastes at the point of generation.  These areas are as important to Hudson as they are to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC). 

These Satellite Accumulation Areas  are clearly defined with yellow stripes, labels, and high quality, highly visible closure lids. These elements are visible to both employees and inspectors and are of extreme importance to our compliance processes, by limiting the spill exposures to small manageable areas, and limiting the number of transports required.   This is a good example of going above and beyond environmental regulation, which we consider as one more step towards "Environmental Excellence".

• Provide the appropriate officials, employees, customers, and the public with information on significant environmental hazards and the environmentally safe use of our products.
  
  

• Conduct research and develop technology designed to reduce emissions, discharges, and waste generation.
